In this article, we will talk about PSR. Now you might be asking yourself what it is. First and foremost PSR stands for Performance Suspension Racing, and as you might have guessed by now, yes, they are a brand for various vehicle accessories and gear.

However, there are a couple of things that this brand is known most for. By the sound of the name itself, it is pretty obvious but yes, they specialize in 4x4 suspension and drivetrain accessory solutions for utes or even SUVs of different vehicle makers.

Apart from suspension systems they also develop and design 4x4 vehicle protection accessories such as bull bars, chassis, engine components, and many more. PSR manufactures products for a wide range of 4WD vehicles made by Nissan, Ford, Volkswagen, Toyota, Holden, and Mitsubishi.

PSR Suspension

A good 4x4 suspension can make a huge difference when going overlanding or just traveling on some rough terrain. It increases the handling of the vehicle by absorbing the impact while minimizing the vibrations felt inside the vehicle itself.

PSR is well known for its 4x4 suspension parts as well as accessories. Said PSR suspensions include 4x4 lift kits, off road shock absorbers, bushings, sway bars, leaf springs, coil springs, leaf pins, U bolts, greaseable shackles, alignment its, torsion bars, as well as off road steering components such as steering dampers.

PSR Ambush Bar

PSR has a wide variety of ambush bars that can fit different car makers so let’s talk about them a bit. As we all know, a bull bar should be one of the key components of every off-road vehicle out there. PSR ambush bars will leave your vehicle untouched when going over rocks or low-lying branches.

PSR Bull Bar

As we mentioned above the PSR has an amazing line of ambush bull bars that provide great frontal protection for your off-road vehicle. Not only do they protect the front bumper of the car but also have tubing that will protect the grills of said car.

They all come with a powder-coated finish that will prevent them from eroding. The bar itself has a splash guard with a generous number of holes in it to allow for the maximum cooling and venting of your vehicle. And it can also deflect any debris found on the road.

PSR Tub Rack

If you own a Ute then you most certainly need to think about getting a tub rack. It will increase the carrying capacity of your vehicle and with it, you can transport a variety of items that can’t fit inside your car such as extra accessories, gear, or even extra cargo.

There are many different types of tub racks. Some can be clamped onto the inner rails of your vehicle, some need to be drilled into the said inner walls, and some to the sides of the tub. One of the most popular ones is the Baja Tub Rack.

PSR Universal Baja Rack Tub Rack

This is a great tub rack for dual cab utes. It is a rack that will fulfill all of your requirements. Whether you want to use it to carry ladders, rooftop tents, paddle boards, or just some extra cargo you can’t fit inside your vehicle PSR has got you covered.

The great thing about this tub rack is that it has an adjustable leg system that will allow the fitment to any tub with an internal minimum width of 1380mm to a maximum width of 1610mm. That means that it is much easier to fit the rack onto a lot of different vehicle models out there.

These PSR Universal Baja Racks also have a powder coat finish so that they can withstand the outside elements and not erode in muddy or rainy environments. The basket dimension of the said Baja Rack is 1050mm(W) X 1400mm(L) X 120mm(H)

PSR Baja Rack Flat Universal Tub Rack

This is yet another universal tub rack for dual cab utes instead this one is flat, unlike the previous one that has a basket. This PSR Baja Rack Flat Universal Tub Rack is constructed out of a 42NB thin wall tube thus keeping the weight of the rack minimal. It also has a black powder coat finish to prevent erosion.

However, one thing is the same as the previously mentioned tub rack and that is the ability to adjust the legs and by that make them fit onto a lot of different vehicle models. You can also adjust the leg height setting. There are four of them and they are.

1/4-height leg set that sits 105mm above the top of the tub line, a 1/2-height leg set that sits 230mm above the tub line, a 3/4-height leg set that sits 405mm above the tub line, and a roof height leg set which is based on the height of each vehicle. It places the top of the tubing 70mm above the rooftop to enable coupling to the roof.

PSR Skid Plates

Skid plates, also known as bash plates are another very essential part of any off-road vehicle. It provides underbody protection from rocks that might damage the said vehicle. Luckily, PSR has a wide range of them too. Skid plates protect the entirety of the lower part of your vehicle.

PSR offers diff drop bash guards, non-diff drop bash guards, front bash guards, rear bash guards, mid bash guards, fuel pump guards, tank bash guards, radiator guards, and many more. All of them have steel construction and are very sturdy.

PSR Front Bash Guard For Mazda BT50 2 and PX 2 - 3 Ranger

This front bash guard from PSR is one of the best options to get for your vehicle if you are an off-road enthusiast or just travel on rugged terrain and want to take care of your vehicle better. It has a 4mm thick steel construction which is powder coated to prevent it from eroding.

This specific model is made to fit Mazda BT-50 as well as the MK2 and MK3 PX Ranger. This bash guard goes great with the PSR ambush brand as it provides amazing under-body protection. Another great thing is that it provides one of the largest protected areas on the market.

PSR DMAX Rear Bash Guard For Holden RG Colorado

This is yet another PSR bash guard but unlike the previous one, this does not cover the full underbody of your vehicle. This is only the rear bash guard, and it is made to fit the Holden RG Colorado. However, you can achieve full under-body protection by combining the front bash guards with this one.

This guard is made out of 4mm thick steel construction that has a black powder-coated finish to it so it can be more durable against outside elements such as rain. The PSR rear bash guard extends from the PSR front guard past the transfer case meaning that the mid-section of your vehicle will also be protected.

PSR IFS Front Bash Guard For Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series

Moving on, we have another really strong bash guard, front bash guard to be exact by PSR. This one specifically was made to fit the Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series. As with all PSR bash guards, this one also has a 4 mm thick construction and a black powder coat finish to it.

It features a reverse pocket design which includes an additional mount to the main front cross member. That means it has huge levels of strength throughout its construction. It protects the radiator and runs back to pick up either the OE cross member or our PSR diff drop.

It also has a red flange which will allow the fitting of the PSR mid-guard which will provide additional support further back.

PSR Drop Bash Guard For Nissan Navara NP300

As you’ve seen by now PSR has many different options when it comes to their bash guards and also for many different vehicle models. This PSR drop bash guard is made specifically to fit the Nissan Navara NP300.

This one, however, is a bit thicker than the rest. It is constructed out of 5mm thick steel, but it also has a black powder coat finish to protect it from eroding when driving around muddy environments. You can be sure that it will protect every important component beneath your car.

This PSR bash guard is virtually indestructible and probably the strongest one on the market too. No connector points meaning the design does not have an exposed connection hence it provides very effective under-body protection.
